Here at Airstream, not only can we provide you with professionally installed air conditioning, all of our installations are in fact, air to air heat pumps. This means that not only can they provide cool filtered air, they also produce incredibly efficient, warm air that can be used as a primary heating source for your home, office, garden room or work environment.

The efficiency of a heat pump is around 300-400%, which when compared to a modern boiler efficiency of around 90%, it’s easy to see the advantages this technology can bring.

Operating an Airstream heat pump system costs roughly 10p an hour, a quarter of the cost of any traditional electric heating system like a fan heater or oil filled radiator.

All air to air heat pumps are extremely quiet and only require an electrical supply to run, so even more perfect for spaces that aren’t connected to a mains gas supply, in fact running an air to air heat pump is the cheapest form of electrical heating available today.

A heat pump can be installed in any existing property, static home, garden room or garage, with usually just a single hole to be drilled through the outer wall.

There’s no complicated radiator system to be installed and there are no harmful gasses released during the operation of a heat pump making them very environmentally friendly.

All internal units have filters installed to ensure that the air that is distributed is cleaner and fresher than the air removed and they can efficiently deliver heat even when outside temperatures are as low as -20C.

With remote controls, timers and Wi-Fi enabling, you can set your desired temperature from wherever and whenever you’d like.

Multiple units can be used throughout your property giving you complete control and these can be connected to a single outside unit. The outside unit can be floor or wall mounted, giving flexibility in its installation.
